Can cheap IT support financially
ruin your business?
We’ve all been there and cleaned up after cheapness. But, have you been tempted by something that seems true but then turns out to be a cheap knock-off… or falls apart… or it’s never delivered in the first place.
Saving a few $$$ turns out to never deliver the actual value we expect in the long run.
As we all know, the same goes for the things you buy for your business. But, especially when it comes to your business, IT support provider, choosing a cut-price version could come back to bite you.
There’s a lot that goes into delivering business IT support, as you probably already know and understand. As well as setting up and maintaining infrastructure, there’s the proactively monitoring for any number of potential issues, supporting, and strengthening your network and systems, and keeping everything updated and patched as it should be.

And then there’s the helpdesk function on top of that – you need to know that your IT provider will be there for you when something goes wrong.
All of this doesn’t come cheap. Or rather, it shouldn’t. So many of the big-box stores or national providers will promise the world but fail to deliver when needed. But the price was low, so you thought it was an excellent value.
The problem is, if you’re not paying your IT support provider enough, likely, all of these crucial elements aren’t being done correctly.
I don’t need to tell you that this may be a catastrophic event for a business like yours:
- Being left vulnerable to all kinds of cyber-attack
- Suffering far more downtime than you need to be
- Facing higher and unrecoverable costs to recover from unexpected problems they could have avoided.
You need to ask yourself: Are you paying enough for your IT support?
Hello my name is Alan Helbush, and I have owned and run a local IT support and data security company for over 20-years servicing the Bay Area.
Unfortunately, over the years, I’ve heard many tales concerning IT support nightmares. I’m not talking about problems that have been out of the ordinary either.
I’ve had clients whose previous IT support company took months to resolve simple problems… that then created new issues as they tried to fix the original issue… as a result who made the cyber criminals’ jobs a whole lot easier by negating some of the basic security measures because they were so glad something was working that they forgot to go back and plug the security issues they created as part of the troubleshooting months ago.
The one thing these clients have primarily had in common: They thought they were getting a great deal when they started working with these cheaper IT support companies.
Boy, was that wrong and, in the long run, cost them a lot more.
While none of these disasters were maliciously caused by the previous supplier, I would hate to see another business held back because of a poor buying decision.
If you aren’t receiving the level of service, you think you should be getting from your current IT support provider (I’m talking ridiculously long response rates, too many calls to the helpdesk, and IT is holding you back rather than helping). Then it’s time you asked yourself: “Are we paying enough for our IT support?”
I wish to help you make that decision. So, for a limited time, I’m offering local businesses an IT assessment to help you see which areas of your IT setup are working well for you and which areas are being neglected.
Along with my team of experts, we will talk to you about your business, your network and infrastructure, and any problems you’ve been having. Then they’ll be able to identify the areas that could cause issues shortly.
We do all of this for a fee to cover our experts’ time (if you sign up for our services, we will waive the fee).
Before we go ahead, we need to have a quick video chat (no more than 15 minutes) to discuss your business and answer any of your questions leading up to the assessment.
It’s straightforward to arrange this. My live calendar is below or at www.WTSci.com/AlanHelbush. Would you please look at my calendar and select the appointment date and time that suits you best?
There’s no obligation to go ahead with the assessment after we talk. And no obligation to buy anything, ever.
